Dr. Hamid has an extensive experience of teaching undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level in several universities. He has taught under graduate and graduate students of Karachi University, Hamdard University, Indus School of Art and Architecture and Iqra University.

Dr. Hamid is currently associated with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, at the University of Toronto as an Academic Visitor to collaborate with Professor Joan Eakin on various topics in the area of “Visual Research Method”. He is working as a Research Coordinator to produce several videotaped lectures for the Centre of Critical Qualitative Research of the University of Toronto. He is also coordinating the overall IT components for the VITAL Project of the Lawrence S. Bloomberg faculty of Nursing of the University of Toronto.

Dr. Hamid has also participated in the design and implementation of researches in education funded by various International Agencies including US-AID, UNICEF, World Bank and European Commission.
