Although Dr. Winston B.C. Manuel was born in Colombo Sri Lanka, but being a missionary in Pakistan for over 45 years, now, he is very much a Pakistani. A career educationist, he proceeded to USA in 1977 to pursue his studies where he did his Masters in Education at Manhattan College and also taught part time in a school in New York. In 1996, he completed his PhD from California.

Upon returning to Pakistan he worked on an international level for the missionary and served as Executive Secretary of their Education Commission. From this office he had organized seminars, conferences, workshops and training courses in several countries in Asia.

In January 2009, he was appointed Principal of St. Patrick’s College Karachi where he turned things around and did an impressive job giving a totally new look to the building, campus and the academic results.

Dr. Manuel (Bro. Lawrence) is actively involved in teachers training and class room teaching strategies. He is well reputed for his organizational and administrative skills. He is now working at Iqra University. He also serves on Board of Trustees of Fatimid Foundation.
