Prof. Dr. Mahpara Begum Sadaqat is associated with Iqra university as Professor, in Faculty of Management Science at Department of Business Administration. She has Ph.D. in Urban Economics from University of Karachi on Social Capital Household Welfare and Poverty. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience at the post graduate level. She has experience in conducting research in diverse topics and continuously provides consultative services to the Federal & Provincial Governments.

She has undertaken research and development work for international and national agencies including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UN Agencies, USAID, and the Aga Khan Foundation. She has worked extensively in areas of, poverty and social development; health and nutrition; urban, regional and development economics; public finance; education and gender.
