Shumaila is associated with Iqra University as an Assistant Professor in Department of Finance. She did her Masters in Finance from University of Melbourne, Australia on a scholarship from AusAID (Australian Agency for International Development). Prior to that, she had served banking sector in Pakistan for almost 4 years. She worked at MCB Bank as a Credit Analyst and Standard Chartered Bank as a Business Planning Manager. She has done various banking courses during her career and had also conducted training sessions for Trainee Officers regarding Credits & Foreign Exchange Operations at MCB Training Centre. Her areas of interest are Financial Management, Security Analysis and Derivatives.
