Dr. Ismail Saad holds a Master’s and PhD degree from George Peabody College for Teachers, a part of Vanderbilt University. Dr. Saad has a long teaching and administrative career, mostly focused on professional education and preparation of teachers for special children.

His administrative assignments have included positions such as Vice Chancellor, Hamdard University, Dean Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, Project Director of the Department of Special Education, Chairman of the Department of Education, Registrar of the University of Karachi and the Principal of Jamia Millia College.

Dr. Saad is presently associated with Iqra University as Dean, Faculty of Education and Learning Sciences. He has been active in the field of teaching and research, especially, in research guidance of M.Phil and PhD students. He has numerous publications and research papers to his credit.
